whereabouts:

I began life in Dallas where I also began eating beans and chiles whenever possible. I moved to St. Louis, spending a not small number of years working at Duff's restaurant and attending Washington University. I finished school in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins University and worked there in a shortlived startup.

I live in San Francisco with my wife and two sons, and I cheer for the Cubs, Cardinals, and Giants.
